Life is not always a bed of roses, but frankly speaking, i am really glad to have know you.
You gave me the support and encouragement that i needed to pass through.

These 2 years plus was a long and winding road i would say. There are ups and downs, just like a roller coaster ride.
But i guess life still goes on. Hope to remain as friends.

On fri was my off day, but went to do some work for the retreat on sat. Then heard news that my maternal's uncle had passed away. Went back home and then took mummy to hospital to see him for last time. Spent almost the whole day there.

Then come back and pack to work on Sat to Batam. The mood that was set to go Batam was not that well as i was feeling quite sad that my uncle passed away but work is work, i had to go for tat retreat. Going to batam with them makes me feel that i am their tour guide. Haiz, but what to do?

1st day passed, quite disturbing and tiring.
2nd day, the real work.
3rd day, shopping at Nagoya shopping centre. Bought 3 adidas shirt. :P

Came back straight away and S called me to ask to pass me a orange jelly. Was quite sour but nice. Thanks for the thought :)
Went to the last night of the wake straight from harbour and then went home late.
Went to Bright Hill Temple to send him off the last time and it's just over. Life is sometimes so fragile. I actually felt glad that my uncle passed away as he had been suffering a lot from dialysis. All the holes on his arms and he actually became smaller and smaller sized as time goes by. Rest well my uncle.

Worked on wed. Had news that Maternal's grandma went to A&E.
We never dared to break the news to her that her eldest son had passed away. So we kept the secret till now. She is now better in a normal ward.

On Sat and sun, worked for both days.
Folk dance event on sat, farm tour on sun.

After that, watched movie with J . "Tropic Thunder" was downright hilarious.

After that, dinner at Maison's (if i never get the wrong spelling),

After so long of not blogging, i am back. My computer had been down since dunno when.. Will blog tomolo.

Before i went to load all the pictures that i took from Malacca and KL, guess would like to talk about my trip. It was found but the most disappointing news is that we had our luggages stolen from the car booth when we went for a stopover in Ayer Keroh (that's our best guess). Not the most disappointed about bags stolen but disappointed with the real reputation of malaysia's safety.
It has always been heard that who or who had been robbed in kl.

Like my previous case with a grassroots leader, she was practically "dragged" by a motorcylist in KL outside Hotel Imperial and she had to stay in KL cause the passport was lost.

Anyway, all our 4 bags were stolen and it is just really sad to hear of such things happening so often at our neighbouring countries. Guess must really think once, twice or thrice before driving to malaysia. Hmm, on the other hand, maybe just don't go to Malaysia at all. With so many cases of theft and robbery, why go all the way to Malaysia to shop when you can just do it in Singapore?

On Monday and tues, work pm shift.
On Wed, it was supposed to be a holiday but i had to work half day. Went to a children's day celebration event.

1 lucky kid walked away with a PSP.

On Thurs, worked am shift. Go to gym after work.
On Fri, went out with mummy to collect photos taken from studio, then go see doctor due to sore throat then go meet S.
Had dinner at Crystal Jade.

Each had a bowl of 拉面 and shared 煎包 and S had the 2 glutinous rice balls in ginger soup.
After that, walk walk then go home.

On Sat, worked half day cause i got MC and stayed at home.
On Sun, went to work in am for an event. Went to kent ridge park, temple and hawker centre.

After that went to meet S, J and SH and Sapphi for a picnic at SBG (Singapore Botanic Gardens).

Sapphi was terrified with the swans. Maybe it's because she was about the size as them. Saw a huge turtle. Most importantly, no mosquito bites. :)

After that went to put Sapphi at J's place then go to orchard to walk walk.

S had the 8 treasure tea, i had iced redbean with grass jelly, J had the cold soya bean and SH had the warm one.
Then ate fried calamari, carrot cake and pig's intestines.

After that, time to head home. What a tiring week.

Saw a lot of squirrels.

On Fri, went gym then meet up S for a visit to Night Safari.
Had dinner at Bongo Burgers.

Had peach teas, chicken salad, chicken burger for S and fish and chips for me.

On Sat, i had an event. Worked from 9am to 11pm.
On Sun, went gym then meet S for movie, Big Stan. Before movie, we had an early dinner at Jack's Place.

"Better the devil you know" is one of my favourite songs from Kylie. But my motto is not "to forgive and forget" but "forgive but don't forget". "Locomotion" is just so mind blank but mindlessly fun. :)

"I Believe In You" had such a christmas feeling when it was out and it was nice. "The one" from this latest album seems so much like a follow-up to it. :)

On Monday, worked PM shift.
On Tuesday, worked AM shift cause got something on.
Met S after work to go to have a meal cause we are together for 2 years.
Let's hope for many more to come dear. :)

Soup and chicken cutlet for me and V8 signature dish for S and shared the banana split.

On Wed, worked PM shift due to meetings.
On Thurs, AM shift.
On Fri, off day. Went back to office to settle some stuff then go to sing with S and J.
After that dinner at the CNG stall near all the hotels. "CNG" is a term i learnt from J which meant Cheap 'N' Good. :)
We had pork, bean curd, veggie soup, prawn omelette and kangkong.

After that, went to liang court to walk walk then see some light up and people getting swinged from the extreme swing then coffee at coffee club.

We had Chocolate vienesse cake (if i get the spelling right), mango mousse cake, chicken and opera mini cake.
After that, home.

On sat, stayed at home the whole day then go out to meet S for dinner at Sushi Tei.

I had the oyako don and inari, S had the yakitori don. And shared the yosenabe. After that, went to GNC to buy pills and powder only to find that there is no spoon to scoop my powder.

On Sun, worked from 7am plus to 7pm plus. Had a petanque competition.
That's basically all for this week.

This week was a busy busy week for me.

On Monday, worked pm shift.
On Tuesday, worked am shift cause got fire drill.

Luckily we dun have much pple in our premises, if not bery troublesome to ask them down.

On Wed, worked PM shift cause MP going to my meeting.

On Thursday, worked AM shift then gym.
On Friday, worked PM shift. Stayed till 11pm to do up the decoration.

On Sat was the day!

Was very happy that all 1200 tickets were sold. :) Was practically full house for my Mid Autumn Celebration.
Went back at 11.40pm.

On Sun, went out with S to walk walk at chinatown and S bought me 2 of these:

Another 2 eeyores to add to my collections. Think i have about 20 eeyores already.

After that, went to eat dessert.

Tutti Frutti Shaved Ice for me and S had the peanut shaved ice and the yam paste.

After that, watched movie at Junction 8. Mamma Mia!

I am gonna buy this soundtrack. :)

After the movie, went home.

Time flies! We have passed 2/3 of the year. 1/3 left to go.
On Mon and Tues, went for a course at MIS. Not as boring as the previous course but it's a good chance to talk to ex colleagues and exchange info.

Met up S after course on tuesday to return his keys he left with me.
Had dinner at the HK cafe at Junction 8.

Steamed rice with chicken and waxed sausage for me. Seafood hor fun for S and both shared prawn paste chicken and curry cheese tou fu.

After that, walk walk then home.

On Wed, worked AM shift, go home after work.
On Thurs, worked whole day shift from 8.30am to 10pm.
On Fri, off. Met up with S. Had lunch at Aijisen, Bugis Junction.

S had cold tofu and seafood shio ramen. I had the chicken toji set.

After that, it's movie time! Watched Wall-E and i must say it's very nice!
After the great movie, we went to suntec, then marina square, then raffles city.
Ate at Thai Express.

S had sour plum, phat thai seafood and tom yum soup.
I had the mango salad, prawn omelette with rice. The sweet tapioca is FOC with purchase of $30 and above and using DBS cards.

After that, went to Raffles hotel to buy mooncakes then home.

On Sat, went gym, then came back. At night, went to my RC event.

The pic on the left is taken when i alighted the bus. Very nice pic i tink. I felt like a minority when i went to the event as all were mostly indians. :) Ended at 10plus.

On Sun, worked till 6. Then S came to meet me and we went to IMM to meet with J and SH.

Had a drink each, frosty lemon tea for S, me frosty lychee, J had a sour plum and SH had some soda.
For the meal, S had the chicken kebab, SH had the chicken chop, J had had the lamb stew and i had fish and chips.

After that, walk walk then home. :)

Worked from Mon to Wed.
Monday - nothing much happened.
Tuesday - got meeting
Wednesday - a real life drama at my place. People kenna caught for abusing some stuff.

On Thurs and Fri. Off day. :)
Went wif mummy and sis out to imm.

Had lunch at Streets cafe. Then meet S for dinner at night.
Ate at Takashimya food court and walked around the mooncake exhibition.
After that, took 502 home. My 1st time taking this bus and i must say, i am happy with it! Cost me a bit more and i reached home 30mins earlier.

On Sat, worked.
On Sun, went to the zoo with SH, J and S.

Some randoms pics at the zoo. Kinda fun to be at the zoo, though tired but fun.

After that, J drove us to his home and rest a while. Played with sapphie then go out to Taka again for the moooncake fair.
Had dinner at Tonkichi.
Hire Katsu for me
Fish Curry for J
Ume Maki Katsu for S.

After that, S and J bought mooncakes then home again on bus 502 again :)
S was so eager to go on bus that forgot his house keys and left with me :P

On Mon to thurs worked. Was preparing for my big event on sunday.
On Fri, off. Went out wif mum then meet with S.
Had dinner then movie.
Ate at Din Tai Feng:

I had the plain 阳春面，S had the菜混钝面.
At the same time we had the 小笼包 (left) and 芋泥小笼包.

After that, head home. On sat, went out to watch movies with 377 other people and then had lunch at restaurant before heading back office to go for a citizenship ceremony.

On Sun, worked for my event from morning to noon.

That's the queue of people buying seng choon eggs for 1.20. Quite scary.

After that, went home and cleaned my stuff then meet S at Jurong Point.

I had the chicken forestiere. S had the seafood mornay as he had a late lunch. The chicken was nice, but too little gravy for me to eat with the spaghetti. After that, desserts was choco mousse for me and banana walnut tart for S.

After that, went to walk at west mall, then had kopi roti then S took bus home and so do i.

What a tiring week. Completed 2 events.

On Mon and tues, worked. After work on tuesday night, i went with S's to have a dinner at AMK hub (the hong kong cafe thingy) opposite New York New York. No pictures taken as the staff are all standing near us. After the dinner, went to a friend's dad's wake. After the wake, go home.

On Wed, worked as well.
On Thurs and Fri, off.
Watched a few rounds of table tennis before meeting S.

Had desserts at the 香味园.

I had the peanut snow flake thingy, which is shaved peanut ice cream. S had the ginger thingy and we had the water chestnut cake.

After that, go walk walk and then meet up with SH then J.

On Sun, woke up at 6 to go and help out at observance cum open house. Then stay home watch singapore played against china in table tennis.

On Monday, worked night shift, was not feeling well that went to see doctor when working.
On Tuesday, MC.
On Wednesday, went to work thinking i will feel better but worse.
Saw my usual doctor on thursday and got 2 days MC.
On Thursday, rest but Fri still go to work despite MC cause it's national day dinner!
Never really done it before, so go and help lor.

We had a large cake and also quite a crowd. A total of 150 tables for the dinner!
Some of the dishes that we got to eat after 10pm.

After that, went back home at 11plus.

On Sat, stayed home till late afternoon to meet S.
Had dinner at Sushi Tei, Thomson Plaza.

Had inari for me, soft shell crab roll for S, stir fried pork and each had a yakitori don.

After that, we went to see how "fine" is ntuc finest. Turns out that the floor size is really small, no wonder called fine. I prefer the NTUC Xtra at AMK hub. :)

After that, went junction 8 then drink tea at the 茶餐厅 opposite swensens.

S had yuan yang and walnut paste. I had hot lemon tea and red bean paste with lotus seed.

After that, it's home.

On Sunday, stayed at home the whole day. :)

That marks the end of my sick week. Only can claim 7 days more for MC.

Worked on Monday.
Worked on tuesday. Was kinda scary what people would do just get 1 miserable NDP ticket. The power of a ticket.
On Wed, worked as well.
Thurs, took off to see flowers at the Garden Festival! Had lunch at pizza hut 1st.

This year's festival was not as interesting as the last one i guess.

After that, had Japanese buffet dinner at Turf City, then movie at Cathay to watch mummy 3! Not bad, but 1st row experience is really my 1st time :)

On sat, went to see NDP parade preview! Before that, met S at novena area, then had lunch at Ah Mei's Cafe.

Fireworks was the main thingy i guess and also the performance of the planes by Zoe's husband and company.
Last 3 shots were the merlion shots.

After that, ate supper/dinner with J and SH at maxwell.

Had vermicelli, gyoza, spring onion pancakes and rojak. After that, bade good bye.

On Sunday, went to meet up S after went to ex office to help out. Went plaza sing, then eat at Takashimaya's Crystal Jade!
1st up, my favourite Mixed Veggies with Vermicelli in taro sauce. Next, half crispy chicken, then deep fried prawns with almond. S had aloe vera with osmanthus and honey and i had the cold soya bean milk. After that, took bus wif S then bus back to my own home from there.

After coming back to SG on 17, i rested on 18 and 19 worked on 20. Worked late from morning till night for a few days cause of audits. Was tiring but have to see the outcome of my hard work to see if it paid off. :)

Met S on fri during my off day for a dinner at The Vines Seafood and Steak at Novena Ville.

The meal comes with some soup and garden salad for my set. We ordered the fisherman's catch as well.
S had the lamb cutlet and i had the BBQ chicken with prawns.
Very full after that. Then we went home after walking around at Junction 8.

On Sunday, met S, SH, J and KC for The Dark Knight at Shaw Centre.
Before that, me and S had lunch then walk walk to meet them.

The movie was ok. The late Heath Ledger was good in his role.
After that, we went dinner at this rude steamboat shop and then shoo-ed to leave the shop as they were closing.
Then went to TCC.

S had the earl grey, SH and J had the azuki freeze, KC had the sesame freeze and i had the hawaiian freeze.

That concludes my weekend. :)

Last day in hong kong. Went out late from hotel for breakfast and check out at the same time.
Went to take the Ngong Ping 360 which is the cable car to Lantau Island.

Took us about 1 hour to queue, to get the tickets and to board the cable car.

Went to the Giant Buddha and i really felt a bit peaceful there. :) Very nice statue. The scenery from the top was nice as well.

We walked around the tourist attraction area, then temple then back to hotel.
Before rushing back, we had a quick meal.

Pork cutlet bun for me and cutlet for S.

At the airport, we had dinner. :)

S had the winter melon soup with rice, i had the pork cutlet with corn and rice and had siew mai.

Bye bye TW and HK. Will visit again... someday :)
